Montana Grille: Discover New American Flavors in Bowling Green, KY

This was outstanding the first time. From the start, the hosts were very friendly. Our waitress was also friendly and attentive. Everything we ate was superb! Good size portions. We sampled each other's plates. I'll just say, we joined the empty plate club here!! What I could not finish the men helped out. It's definitely a most for our yearly event in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Our waitress, Riley was EXCELLENT! My husband & I got there a little after 7PM. She let us know the kitchen was behind & we know that’s not her fault, so of course we were fine with that. She checked on us frequently, our drinks were always full, & she was great at keeping us informed about our meal. She apologized a lot, but as said previously, we know it’s not her fault. Nevertheless, we appreciated the thought. The food came out about 8:30. My salmon was undercooked and my husband said his steak was cold. We ate what we could & took the rest home for a snack later. I’ve eaten here once before & remember the meal being delicious so this must’ve been an off night. I mainly wrote the review to highlight our waitress. Thank you Riley for making the experience WAY better with your kindness! We will be back!

This trip required cornbread and it had to be at Montana Grille. My heart sank after not seeing as an appetizer or dessert.... Waiter explained that every meal starts with cornbread. Heat scale 1/10 and tasty scale is 10/10. Fun doesn't stop here... Indecision on so many menu options was resolved with rib & chicken combo w/ selected loaded baked potato. All three were perfect. The BBQ on the ribs was so good I asked for a side and used with the chicken. Bottle it! The wood fuel to the flames infused the chicken and the air in delightful amount. The atmosphere was nostalgic and airy with a location that permitted a walk from the hotel. Wait, there's more. The cheese cake was perfect including the thick and buttery graham cracker crust. I have had many and this was top 5 overall. The second half was eaten in hotel room later with a huge smile. I wanted coffee but needed sleep. Ted's montana Grille is a favorite of mine now complemented by Bowling Green's Montana Grille.

Yuengling on tap. Nice bar selection. Food was great but expensive for the portions. Left wanting more. Beautiful establishment! amazing wood smoker smell throughout with large elegant cabin feel. The grill is at the head of the bar. Very nice work flow from grill to wait staff and fun to watch from the bar.

I had a fantastic experience here. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a rustic American steakhouse: warm wood, big log beams, cozy booths with Southwestern patterns, and a relaxed vibe. The space feels inviting and well-kept, with beautiful holiday decorations that make it even more charming. The food was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. But the real surprise was the cornbread served piping hot in a small cast-iron skillet — soft, buttery, and incredibly good. I also had a glass of red wine that paired nicely with the meal. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything arrived quickly and at the right temperature. A great place to enjoy a comforting, hearty meal in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended.

Currently stuck at the Holliday Inn whike semi-truck is in the shop. Ordered a Chicken Alfredo which was spot-on and delicious. Good portions. The bread that came with it was a tasty partner to the dish. Will return. Came back again today and ordered the cowbow sirloin steak. The steak was cooked to perfection and was juicy. The baguette that came with it was perfectly baked, and had a unique sauce that turned the bread into a dish on it's own. Very delicious. Garlic mashed potatoes were great as well. This is a great restaurant. I tried all the restaurants around here. None comes close to this place. Perfection.

November 16, 2025 first dining experience. A very nice restaurant that I'll definitely come back to. My server was excellent although I can't recall her name. Food portion was great and I had the Montana grilled chicken salad. I can't wait to try other menu options. Men's bathroom was also clean, which I appreciate.

I found this place by typing in "Best steakhouse in Bowling Green, KY." I'm a HUGE Texas Roadhouse fan and I was headed there before I did my Google Search. Loved the look of the restaurant, my Ribeye with loaded baked potato was excellent but their Jalapeno Cornbread was AMAZING! That on top of an awesome server by the name of McKayla made it a very positive experience.
